All you have to do is turn the handle in order to clean the internal sponges inside the filter, and the dirt from the filter sponges exits the filter through the waste outlet. This filter has an 18 watt UV bulb. The max amount of litres in your pond to use this filter is 9,000L. This filter comes as a set and includes a 6,000L pump.
